Privacy Policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
This policy covers the Eventum app for iPhone and Android and the website geteventum.app. Eventum is built to need as little about you as possible: there is no sign-up, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
No account, just a random ID
The first time you open the app, it creates a random identifier on your phone and stores it in the phone's secure storage (on iPhone, the Keychain, which can sync through iCloud Keychain to your other Apple devices). This ID is what links your follows and settings on our servers to your app. It is not derived from anything about you.
What we store on our servers
- Your random ID and when you last used the app.
- Your country and language, taken from your phone's region settings. If the app does not send them, we estimate the country from your IP address when the app registers. We do not store the IP address.
- Device details: device type, device name, operating system version and app version, plus the push token that lets us send you notifications.
- Your notification settings, such as how long before an event you want to be reminded.
- The teams, leagues, shows and events you follow, and the events you hide.
We use this only to run the app: keep your calendar and feed up to date, send your reminders, and suggest what to follow (for example, popular teams in your country).
Your calendar
With your permission, the app creates its own "Eventum" calendar on your phone and writes the events you follow into it. It never reads or changes your other calendars, and nothing from your calendar is sent to us.
Notifications
Reminders are sent through Expo's push service, which delivers them through Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn them off at any time in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings.
Purchases
Eventum Premium is sold through the App Store and Google Play, which handle payment. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat processes your subscription status, linked to your random ID, so the app knows which features to unlock. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Analytics and diagnostics
- PostHog receives how the app is used (for example, which screens are opened and which features are used), linked to your random ID, so we can see what works and fix what does not.
- Axiom receives technical logs from the app and our servers, such as errors, which can include your random ID.
- On geteventum.app, Cloudflare hosts the site and Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Eventum shows no ads, does not sell or share your data for advertising, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who else processes data
Only the service providers named above, plus our hosting and database providers, process data for us, and only to run Eventum. We would disclose data beyond that only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you use the app. If you stop using Eventum, your data stays linked only to the random ID, which nobody can connect to you without your phone.
Deleting your data
- Unfollow anything at any time; it is removed from our servers straight away.
- Turn off notifications in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings.
- Remove the Eventum calendar from your phone's Calendar settings.
- To have everything we store deleted, email [email protected] and we will delete it and confirm.
Children
Eventum is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the app, email us and we will delete the data.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
